Fourth round: Isaiah Prince, OT, Ohio State
One of the more underrated losses of the Denver Broncos’ offseason was the loss of tackle/guard Billy Turner, the team’s ‘sixth man’ on the offensive line who ended up starting a bunch of games this past season.
Turner turned those starts into a nice contract from the Green Bay Packers.
The Broncos have yet to replace Turner and the fourth round is a nice spot to do that, even though we don’t have any interior offensive linemen yet in this mock draft.
Prince played right tackle for the Buckeyes and wins with length and hand punch are great qualities.
I would love to see the Broncos add prince along with a player like Dalton Risner, but in this mock scenario, that wasn’t a possibility.
Denver gets yet another player with familiarity with their new young quarterback.
