The Denver Broncos will be kicking off the preseason in the Hall of Fame game. Who are the other four teams they will face after that game?

We all knew a few weeks ago that the Denver Broncos would be playing in the first preseason game of 2019 as they will take on the Atlanta Falcons in the Hall of Fame game. What was not determined yet were the other four teams they will face off against.

That is correct, the Hall of Fame game is treated like an extra preseason game. So, this year, the Denver Broncos will have five preseason games. On Tuesday, the final four opponents have been finalized.

The NFL released the opponents that each team will be playing during the 2019 preseason throughout the month of August. Who will the Denver Broncos be facing? Well, this year it follows quite an intriguing pattern.

vs. Atlanta Falcons (Hall of Fame game)

at Seattle Seahawks (Week 1 Preseason)

vs. San Francisco 49ers (Week 2 Preseason)

at Los Angeles Rams (Week 3 Preseason)

vs. Arizona Cardinals (Week 4 Preseason)

That is right, the Denver Broncos will play the entire NFC West for the 2019 preseason. During the 2018 season, the Broncos played the entire NFC West during the regular season.

Other than the Hall of Fame game, the only game that has a set time and date is the week two matchup with the San Francisco 49ers. That game will kick off on Monday August 19th on ESPN’s Monday Night Football.

Times and dates for the other three games (at Seattle, at Rams, vs. Cardinals) will be announced when the NFL releases the regular season schedule. The schedule is likely announced about a week before the NFL Draft.

The NFC West is an intriguing division to go up against. Denver split all four games against those teams winning at home against the Seahawks and on the road against the Cardinals while suffering losses at home against the Rams and on the road against the 49ers.

This will provide Vic Fangio with some solid competition out of the gate. This is a good chance for him to use all five games to mold a team that can make some noise in 2019.
