The possibility of Von Miller and Bradley Chubb teaming up with LSU linebacker Devin White is so tantalizing, the players themselves are dreaming.

The Denver Broncos have no clear direction for the 10th overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft at this point in time, and that’s not a surprise.

There are only so many prospects the team would realistically consider with that premium selection, and one of them is certainly LSU’s Devin White.

Many have been assuming White will be unavailable as he is expected to be the selection of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who have the fifth overall pick.

But like every year in the NFL Draft process, nothing is a done deal until it’s a done deal.

Despite the logical fit of White and the Buccaneers after they lost Kwon Alexander in free agency, Tampa Bay may have a hard time passing on a player like Ed Oliver, who absolutely blew up his pro day at Houston.

Of course, the Broncos would probably love to be able to get Oliver as well, but it’s hard not to love the idea of adding Devin White and all his speed to the linebacker room.

It’s such a tantalizing idea, even Von Miller is posting Photoshopped images of he, Bradley Chubb, and White together on Instagram.

The Draft is not Miller’s primary area of expertise, but this is a pretty good idea right here.

Even though Broncos head coach Vic Fangio is on record as saying he doesn’t think Devin White or Devin Bush of Michigan are as good of prospects as Roquan Smith last year (he’s right) that doesn’t take the Broncos out of the running for either guy if they are available.

White himself responded to Miller’s post and the two have rekindled some optimism that Denver could get White in the 2019 NFL Draft.

It’s very possible if the Buccaneers don’t take White at no. 5 overall that he could fall to the 10th pick.

Last year at this time, it would have been considered wildly optimistic to drum up a scenario in which Bradley Chubb would fall to the Broncos at five overall. The fact of the matter is, we have no idea what teams are thinking and what they are going to do at this point.

It’s not entirely out of the question that Miller’s — and White’s — dream here could come true.
