If Dalton Risner had a choice of where he would play at the next level, there’s no question it would be with the Broncos.

I happen to think Risner would be a solid pick if the Broncos just trade back in the first round and take him there, because this team is going to try and establish a mean offensive line that can dictate the pace of games.

While Risner has been a tremendous right tackle in college, he would play right guard for the Broncos or possibly even center, and I think he would excel there.

I’ve seen a number of mock drafts that have Risner falling to 41, but like Lock at 10, they may have to maneuver a bit to get this guy.

Still, it makes so much sense for the Broncos to go and get someone who fills arguably their biggest need who has publicly expressed his desire to be on the team so badly.

The nasty, powerful lineman will take an official pre-draft visit to Denver, and if I had to bet on one guy being in orange and blue by the end of this whole process, it might be Risner.
