It is very true. The Denver Broncos do need a wide receiver. It can be addressed in the earlier rounds. However, because of the addition of TJ Hockenson, it pushed that need a little down the line to right now. This is, in fact, is a move that could see playing time rather quickly. Because of the simple fact, Denver does not have a player like Penny Hart on their roster.

Hart is a true burner in every sense of the word. He is lightning in a bottle and capable of taking the top off a defense given the right set up. The explosion is there. He can work underneath, but his best attribute is being a downfield missile for Joe Flacco. Hart’s body control does worry you because he tends to fall away from the ball more. On the other hand, his hands are not bad.

With his speed, he’s an incredible ball carrier. If Denver can get him space to roam free, then he will be a home run threat at wide receiver. This being the one area Denver needs on their offense. In order for Hart to be a well-known commodity at wide receiver, he will need to bulk up more and learn more of the route tree to go far. Not to mention he can take on a larger punishment of tacklers.
