Von Miller’s helps lead comeback vs. Chargers

With their backs against the walls in last season’s thriller over the Los Angeles Chargers in November, all that was needed was one big play to get the Denver Broncos back into the game. Von Miller provided that with a rare interception.

Trailing 19-7 late in the third quarter, Von Miller was able to jump a screen pass thrown by Philip Rivers and get a decent return out of it. It helped set the stage for a big time comeback as the Denver Broncos were able to get a last second Brandon McManus field goal to get the win.

For Von Miller, this play proved that he can impact a game at any point. Normally, we see it as a sack or a forced fumble. For this play, it was seen as a interception.
