First-round scenario

If the Broncos are left with the scenario we just saw on page one, they should have at least two or three teams calling about a trade-up to pick number 10.

Those teams would be the Miami Dolphins, Washington Redskins, and New York Giants.

Their targets? Dwayne Haskins, Drew Lock, and for a stunner how about Daniel Jones?

To move down from the 10th pick to the 15th pick last year, the Oakland Raiders received a third- and fifth-round pick from the Arizona Cardinals.

The Redskins have an extra third-round pick to play with, and they’ve already done some business with the Broncos this offseason.

I’m predicting if this scenario plays out, the Broncos trade down with Washington to pick 15 in the first-round, also acquiring a third-round pick (76th overall) and fifth-round pick (153rd overall). It would look like this:

This move would give the Broncos ammunition to move up the board as they please throughout the rest of the draft.
