Zach Brown, ILB

The Broncos could sign Zach Brown, and I put him on this list because many fans are talking about him, but why not find a way to re-sign Brandon Marshall if you want to bring this guy in?

Both are 29, both are solid in coverage, and when healthy, both can rack up tackles.

It doesn’t make much sense to me to bring in Brown and not bringing back Marshall unless the price is substantially lower to bring Brown into the fold.

The 2016 Pro Bowler with Buffalo was released this offseason by the Redskins, who needed to make a bunch of cap space for Landon Collins.

He does have great straight-line speed and always has, so perhaps that speed is what really sets him apart from other guys.

Next. Why free agents decided to pick the Denver Broncos. dark

If he wanted to come to Denver on a short deal, it might not be a terrible idea. There are alternatives available like trading for Darron Lee or just drafting a guy like Devin Bush, so the Broncos don’t need to back themselves into a corner by signing Brown, but he’s a solid option.
