Defensive Tackle

This could very well be the position where the Denver Broncos target in the draft. However, that could well depend on how things square away in free agency. There are still some solid options in the market.

Timmy Jernigan could be a solid player for the Broncos. He missed a bit of 2018 with injuries. However, he is still young and could help in both the run and pass defense. If John Elway were to sign him, it could very well be a steal.

Muhammad Wilkerson could be a solid veteran presence that could give the team a solid few years. However, his issues with the New York Jets prompted his release and a serious ankle injury last year with Green Bay provides little faith, but if it were to work, he could be solid in Fangio’s system.

Domata Peko would be another player well worth bringing back, but likely not until prior to the NFL Draft starting or before training camp. Mostly because of his age. But he had a resurgence in Denver and that could very well continue.
