Slot Cornerback

The Denver Broncos addressed the cornerback position in the tampering period of free agency when they agreed with Kareem Jackson. That would have forced Bradley Roby back into the slot. However, he is joining the Houston Texans.

Now the team is in need of a nickel cornerback. Isaac Yiadom could fill in the spot, but if the team really wants to make a splash in free agency, the Broncos should reunite Vic Fangio with Bryce Callahan.

Perhaps one of the best players in that nickel spot, Callahan could continue to thrive in Fangio’s system. And it would help complete the cornerback position before the draft.

Another player that could be an option is Darqueze Dennard from the Cincinnati Bengals. He could come at a cheaper price if the Broncos are unable to get Callahan.
