Linebacker Options

Zach Brown, Redskins

Brown was a cap casualty of the Washington Redskins, who opted instead for Landon Collins to dominate their defensive payroll.

Their loss could be the Broncos’ gain as Brown is a solid all-around linebacker. If he comes in, I would think he would take Todd Davis’ roster spot.

KJ Wright, Seahawks

The former Seattle linebacker is coming off of an injury-shortened season and certainly has the respect of Vic Fangio, who competed against his Seahawks while he was with the 49ers from 2011-14.

Wright has experience playing on an elite defense but does he fit a 3-4 system?

Mark Barron, Rams

The Broncos obviously want speed at the linebacker position, and as a converted safety, Barron has it.

The former top 10 draft pick has never really lived up to his billing, but perhaps under a linebacker guru like Fangio, he could excel.
