Jermaine Kearse, WR, Jets

If the Broncos are in the market for a veteran receiver who could potentially come in and be the WR4, they may have to get a little creative.

It’s not easy to convince a guy to come into your program as the WR4, but the initial rumor was that Denver had some interest in Baltimore’s John Brown, who is now Buffalo’s John Brown, who signed for $9 million per year.

I don’t think the veteran Kearse — who just turned 29 — is going to command that kind of money per year, but he might be willing to sign for a decent price for a year or two and play a key reserve role for the Broncos.

Kearse is a crafty player who knows how to get open from the slot or out wide and has played in a lot of playoff games through the years, including Super Bowl 48 when he was a member of the Seattle Seahawks, who won it all that year.

I can’t quite remember which team they beat, but it was a good beating.
