4. John Brown, WR, Baltimore Ravens

I’m not overly high on the idea of John Brown coming to Denver, not from a football perspective but from a health perspective.

Brown has the sickle cell trait, which is not the same as sickle cell anemia, but historically, even single games played by guys with sickle cell issues have caused concern playing at altitude in Denver.

Brown apparently has his situation under control, and I’m not a doctor nor is it my body. If he wants to play with the Denver Broncos and their new quarterback Joe Flacco, it will happen regardless if I want it to or not.

What does Brown bring to the table? Speed.

He’s a big time downfield playmaker and can create separation against any type of coverage. He would provide the Broncos with a downfield home run threat.
