The Denver Broncos will be in the market for a cornerback during the 2019 offseason. Here are some options that John Elway could look at.

When Aqib Talib was traded to the Los Angeles Rams, the Denver Broncos lost a key member of their defense that has been so dominant. 2018 was a prime example on how much his absence impacted the Denver Broncos pass defense.

And with Bradley Roby testing the free agency market, there is no doubt that cornerback is going to be a huge need for the Denver Broncos. With the amount of cap space that Denver has, they could likely afford a big name free agent on defense that could benefit in Vic Fangio’s system.

This cornerback will need to be the Robin to Chris Harris Jr. While Harris Jr. is covering one side of the field, the corner that is selected to start on the other side will need to be on top of his game. I truly believe that if John Elway wants to compete right now, that he will pursue a cornerback that can be a true number two.

Having Vic Fangio on the coaching staff will most likely influence some of the free agent’s minds on where to sign. Hopefully, it can result in a solid cornerback. Here are five cornerbacks that I believe the Denver Broncos should look at.
