My free agency pipe dreams

I don’t know if we just want to import the entire Ravens roster over to Denver, or what.

Can we make that happen?

In all seriousness, the Ravens have some really interesting free agents this offseason and one player I have always held in very high regard is pass rusher Terrell Suggs. I was drafting him on the Broncos back on Madden 2003 when he was DE #48 from Arizona State on my imported draft class.

Suggs showed in the Broncos/Ravens matchup last season that he still has something in the tank, and the Broncos are going to be in the market for a third pass rusher with Shaq Barrett hitting free agency along with Shane Ray.

I don’t know that Suggs would take a deal to play with the Broncos but he won a title with Joe Flacco before and he has some history with Vic Fangio.

Suggs would provide some juice off the edge when the Broncos need Bradley Chubb or Von Miller to take a rest.

If not Suggs, another pipe dream situation would involve Justin Houston, who is expected to be let go by the Chiefs. Again, I doubt that would happen, but can you imagine having him as a third pass rush weapon to go along with Miller and Chubb?

He will likely go be someone’s pass rushing centerpiece.
