Wyoming defensive linemen Youhanna Ghaifan (#93 in the picture above) is a solid anchor for an interior lineman. This move could trigger a few things. The Denver Broncos are interested in bringing back Domata Peko or they might sign an interior linemen in free agency before the draft. Both of those could be on the table.
Ghaifan’s athletic frame makes him an interesting project and one that can strongly develop into something with coaching.
His very inconsistent games and technique are worrisome but not the end of the world. When Ghaifan turns his hands on as a interior run defender he’s terrifying. He has a flurry of moves to get in the backfield, but again it is just too inconsistent and does not show up often. There are times where he leaves his feet and that is a major no-no for defensive linemen. If that happens, centers or guards will win every time.

Ghaifan plays a couple of positions on the defensive line, including nose tackle at times. With him being a local product, the name has probably been mentioned. I don’t have sources close to his situation, so the Broncos’ level of interest unclear.
