Texas A&M. 45. Pick Analysis. Tight End. 41. player. Scouting Report. JaceSternberger

Jace Sternberger will be one of the risers at the right end position when all is said and done.

Sternberger is a tremendously gifted wide receiver-like tight end. If Denver is serious about adding a to the tight end group, Sternberger is in line for instant impact immediately. In some ways, he parallels Kansas City’s Travis Kelce with his yards after the catch ability.

The weight distribution of Sternberger makes him difficult to wrap up. This makes Sternberger a huge mismatch. So what’s the catch? Sternberger is not the most refined route runner, but he is getting better. With the appropriate coaching, he can mold into something special.

Flacco and Lock would see plenty of success even relying on Sternberger’s hands and athleticism. His ability to use the middle of the field while also focusing on the catch first makes him a quarterback’s best friend.

The quickest selling point for Sternberger as a potential riser is his willingness to be a run blocker. That area of his game is a work in progress, but the desire make it better is terrific. He wants to put the work in.
