Seventh round: Preston Williams, WR, Colorado State

To close out this draft, I took the player I felt had the highest upside, regardless of their situation.

Preston Williams is a top 40 talent who may fall down teams’ boards or out of the draft entirely due to some off-field stuff that went down in 2017.

He has great size and tracking ability, and was wildly productive at Colorado State this past year.

Though this mock draft already includes a receiver and the Broncos have some guys in-house who can play, Williams is a great value and a worthwhile risk/reward type of player at this juncture.

Watching him play, he looked like a WR1 with huge upside, but teams will have some major questions about his character.
