Fifth round (second pick): Justice Hill, RB, Oklahoma State

I agree with all of you who say the Broncos don’t ‘need’ a running back. Sometimes, however, you have to take a player based on talent and upside and that’s what Justice Hill offers here.

Another freakish athlete, Hill ran a 4.40 in the 40-yard dash and had 21 bench press reps along with a 40-inch vertical jump.

His exceptional speed and explosiveness added up to 30 rushing touchdowns over three seasons with the Cowboys’ program, and he could be a great fit for the Broncos as an eventual replacement for Devontae Booker.

They don’t do the same things (the Broncos will look to Royce Freeman for some of that) but Hill has the chance to be a home run hitter in the NFL. He would be a fun back to have along with Freeman and Phillip Lindsay.
