Fourth round: Daylon Mack, DT, Texas A&M

If you’ve read some of my mock drafts, you know this is one of my favorite mid-round players for the Denver Broncos.

Mack has had a very solid offseason circuit after a very good senior year for the Texas A&M Aggies which included 32 tackles, 10 tackles for loss, and 5.5 sacks.

A short and stout defensive tackle (6-1, 336 pounds), Mack has the potential to be a space-eating nose tackle with upside as a rusher.

He ran a really solid 5.1 for his size in the 40-yard dash, so he’s got some get-off and he’s got upper-body strength. He’s got to prove he can consistently handle NFL offensive linemen in the running game but the upside is there for him to serve as a rotational nose tackle in his first year in the NFL.
