The Denver Broncos could be looking to bolster their wide receiver corps this offseason, but here’s why they shouldn’t sign or trade for anyone.

After going 6-10 this past season, the Denver Broncos once again enter an offseason full of questions.

John Elway has already made one acquisition trading for former Baltimore Ravens starting quarterback Joe Flacco, and that will certainly not be the last move he makes to improve the Denver Broncos. There’s no question that Denver’s offense was putrid at best in 2018 with Case Keenum at the helm.

The passing attack under Keenum and offensive coordinator Bill Musgrave finished 19th in the league and could use a big upgrade. With what appears to be the 2019 quarterback position set, there’s no doubt Elway will turn to other positions in hopes of improving the passing attack.

With so many options that are opening up in free agency and on the trade market, it makes sense that the Denver Broncos could possibly be interested in a few of these guys such as speedster John Ross or former Jaguar Donte Moncrief, but they shouldn’t be.

Here’s why.
