It is mock draft season and there is no doubt defense is a need for the Denver Broncos. I take a look at three players they could draft on days one and two.

Vic Fangio is now the head coach of the Denver Broncos. It appears that the defense is going to get quite the upgrade from this move. And there are some positions that truly need the upgrade. 2018 clearly showed some of the weaknesses in the Denver Broncos defense.

While players like Von Miller and Chris Harris Jr. showed that they can still perform at the mile high level, there were some players who could not seem to stay consistent. Especially at the secondary level. It was proven that Aqib Talib was missed with the amount of times wide receivers not covered by Chris Harris Jr. got open.

Case and point was the 97-yard touchdown by Juju Smith-Schuster where Bradley Roby was covering. Talk about embarrassing.

I believe that defense should be a key focus in this draft. With so many possible needs, I do not see it being taken care of in free agency alone. A few days ago, I posted a first round mock draft for all 32 spots in that round. During that time, I did a three round mock for the Broncos.

Now Broncos Country, take a look at the three players that I drafted for the Denver Broncos in the 2019 NFL Draft.
