Kansas City Chiefs- Josh Jacobs, RB, Alabama

This one comes as no surprise to me. When it was revealed late in the season that a video surfaced of Kareem Hunt’s disturbing act, the Chiefs released him. While Damien Williams filled well in his place, it would not be surprising if the Chiefs looked at running back in the draft. I do not think they would think twice about it and use their first round pick on Josh Jacobs, who is a solid running back.

Green Bay Packers (via New Orleans Saints)- T.J. Hockenson, TE, Iowa

The Green Bay Packers get a second first round pick in the draft. This pick stems from a draft day trade last year when the Saints traded to get Marcus Davenport earlier. With it, the Packers select a tight end. And the crazier part? It comes from the Iowa Hawkeyes. It might be history as two players at the same position are drafted in the first round from the same school. It seems as it could be a good fit for the Packers.

Los Angeles Rams- Dalton Risner, OT, Kansas State

This one comes as a surprise as the Rams are not in dire need of an offensive tackle. They do need a guard, so perhaps this move is in thoughts that they could put Risner as a guard. I did talk briefly about Risner for the Broncos as an option. Perhaps the Rams feel they could utilize him across the offensive line.

New England Patriots- Kelvin Harmon, WR, NC State

The Patriots will likely need to find a wide out this offseason. Even though they have Julian Edelman, Phillip Dorsett, and Cordarrelle Patterson, it seems as if they could develop a wide out for Tom Brady. While the move here does not make a ton of sense, it could be a best player available selection.
