Rakeem Nuñez-Roches, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Rakeem Nuñez-Roches was a surprise cut by the Kansas City Chiefs last May, and then was waived by Chris Ballard and the Indianapolis Colts.

That’s not a great look for him to be let go by the team that drafted him and a guy who had a hand in drafting him.

He ended up signing with the Buccaneers last season and played in only three games.

He will be 26 this season and showed a ton of potential for the Chiefs, specifically in games against the Denver Broncos. He showed explosiveness off the snap and was relentless in pursuit of the football.

Perhaps a union with Bill Kollar, one of the best defensive line coaches in the game, could help re-ignite this guy’s once very promising career, which has taken a bad turn in the past year.
