Jeff Heuerman, TE

Best fits: Denver Broncos, Cincinnati Bengals, Dallas Cowboys, New Orleans Saints, Jacksonville Jaguars

Prediction: Jacksonville Jaguars

As much as I would love to see Jeff Heuerman build off of his strong contract year with the Broncos, he will have a variety of options in free agency.

Among those options, he could have the chance to go back to his home state of Florida (he is a native of Naples, FL) and play for the Jacksonville Jaguars, who are in need of a tight end after they declined Austin Seferian-Jenkins’ option.

There are a variety of teams that could show interest in Heuerman, though.

The Cincinnati Bengals have three unrestricted free agent tight ends this offseason, and Heuerman played his college ball in Ohio at Ohio State.

The Dallas Cowboys are in need of a tight end and could be interested in the former third-round pick as well.

Ultimately, if some team bids really high for Heuerman (especially a team with no state income tax) he would be hard-pressed to pass on the opportunity.

Denver would love to have him back, but the price may not be right.
