Jarrett Stidham, Auburn

Jarrett Stidham is one of many late-round quarterbacks that intrigue me in the upcoming draft.

Stidham at times does show tentativeness outside the pocket, but one thing is abundantly clear:  Stidham can challenge downfield with regularity.

This doesn’t mean anything positive or negative, but what it does say is Stidham displays no fear.

Stidham originally attended Baylor University, but later transferred to Auburn where he established more of a name for himself. The Big 12 is a solid conference, but it is not the SEC, especially defensively. The competition is stiffer and national recognition is greater.

If there’s one thing the 2017 version of Stidham had versus the 2018 version of Stidham, it was no fear.

NFL teams are desperate to find the next best thing at quarterback. Stidham will be selected by someone. He has a big arm and was efficient though unspectacular statistically.

The question now becomes, which version of Stidham would the Broncos be getting?

Check out some of his Auburn highlights here.
