The Denver Broncos have taken an aggressive approach prior to the start of the new league year, there are several reasons why CB should be their priority.

The Denver Broncos have been no strangers to big moves happening out of nowhere. On Wednesday, the Baltimore Ravens traded Joe Flacco to Denver for a fourth-round pick. The deal won’t be official until the new league year starts on March 13th.

With Joe Flacco taking over as the starting quarterback for the Broncos in 2019, where does the team shift their focus to in the NFL Draft?

A source close to me said that the Broncos trading for Joe Flacco doesn’t indicate that they won’t draft a quarterback either.

I personally believe the Broncos will focus their efforts on the next major positional need – cornerback.

A quarterback was the main priority of focus for the Broncos draft needs before the Flacco trade. With that move out of the way, the Broncos have to address their lack of cornerback depth and this year’s draft class has some gems in the secondary.

With the tenth pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, the Denver Broncos have the opportunity to pick up several defensive candidates. In this piece, we will take a look at Greedy Williams and Deandre Baker who are two of the top CB candidates in this year’s draft.
