It’s no secret, Elway wants to explore all options at QB this offseason, but the Denver Broncos should avoid these three guys at all costs.

Since John Elway joined the Denver Broncos front office, there has been an annual search for the long-term option at quarterback. Unfortunately, despite exploring the draft, free agency, and the trade market, Elway has been pretty unsuccessful (except for the signing of Peyton Manning).

The Denver Broncos have drafted five quarterbacks including mega-tall Brock Osweiler, mega-bust Paxton Lynch, and mega-knucklehead Chad Kelly. They’ve also traded for former first-round draft pick Mark Sanchez (who lasted all of four preseason games), and they’ve tried bringing in a stopgap solution through free agency in Case Keenum.

Fans are getting restless and you better believe Elway is too. Keenum’s performance last season made it very clear that he is not the answer at quarterback (and Elway said as much) and with a plethora of free agent options and with Denver holding the #10 draft pick, another opportunity presents itself for the Broncos to find their quarterback this offseason.

That being said, John Elway is skating on thin ice here and really cannot afford to mess this up, which is why he should avoid these three quarterbacks at all costs.
