KJ Wright, Seattle Seahawks

Age: 29 (30 in July)

While Vic Fangio was coaching up star linebackers Patrick Willis and Navorro Bowman in San Francisco, his division rivals in Seattle were coaching up an equally impressive duo of players in Bobby Wagner and KJ Wright.

Like Bowman in San Francisco with Willis, Wright has always been sort of the ‘Robin’ to Bobby Wagner’s ‘Batman’ but he’s a phenomenal player in his own right.

The 29-year old played in just five games this past season but his track record in the NFL speaks for itself.

At the peak of the Seahawks’ defensive greatness, Wright had been a consistently great run defender who blew things up in the backfield more often than not. He has only two career interceptions but has been decent in coverage throughout his career.

One element Wright brings to the table is a significant veteran presence and experience in the league playing with great defenses, including a defense that completely dominated the Broncos in Super Bowl 48.

Wright’s veteran leadership, experience, and consistency could be highly coveted by a team like the Broncos this offseason.
