Jeff Holland, OLB

Jeff Holland was another undrafted free agent gem for the Broncos in 2018, though he didn’t get to see the field nearly as often as his fellow UDFA Phillip Lindsay did.

Holland spent the majority of his rookie season on the practice squad before the Broncos called him up and got him some very valuable reps.

Holland did exactly what everyone knew he could do well when he finally got a chance, which is put pressure on the quarterback. He did a great job of getting after Baker Mayfield in the Broncos’ regular season matchup against the Cleveland Browns, and showed off his potential as a rotational rusher.

He’s been spending the early portion of the offseason hanging close to Von Miller and with Shaquil Barrett and Shane Ray both scheduled to depart in free agency, Holland should be the new top reserve for the Broncos off the edge.

That means he’s in line for a good amount of snaps in 2019 unless Vic Fangio brings in another edge player to take his spot.
