Keishawn Bierria, LB

The Broncos drafted Keishawn Bierria for depth and special teams ability, and that’s exactly what they got.

Well, the latter, at least.

Bierria didn’t play much defense for the Broncos but he played a lot of special teams for them, the third most snaps in that phase on the entire team behind Joe Jones and Josey Jewell.

The Broncos could rely on Bierria again this season for his special teams ability, but if they decide to move on from Brandon Marshall and/or Todd Davis, Bierria could see himself thrust into a role on the defense as well.

In my opinion, that’s not overly likely. Bierria is likely going to continue to carve out his niche on special teams while waiting for an opportunity at linebacker to come later down the road.
