CJ Mosley, LB, Baltimore Ravens

Projected contract: 4 years, $45M ($11M/year)

In order to facilitate this move, the Broncos would possibly have to decide whether they want to keep Matt Paradis at center or move Connor McGovern there permanently and use the big money they could spend on Paradis elsewhere.

This is a tough decision.

Paradis has done so much for the Broncos but it’s going to be hard to justify an $11 million/year salary for a center, especially if they could bring in a player like CJ Mosley at the same (or similar) price.

I am making the tough call in this situation to bring in Mosley, which would also result in the team restructuring or releasing Brandon Marshall as well as potentially Todd Davis.

Mosley is a difference maker who can play sideline to sideline, with his back to the ball, or attacking the line of scrimmage. Every Vic Fangio defense has had stellar linebackers and the Broncos’ need here may be overrated, but the idea of adding Mosley is something they shouldn’t pass up on if they have the chance to get him. He’s a stud.
