Rodger Saffold, OG, Rams

Age: 30 (31 in June)

The Broncos should not scoff at any possible upgrade to the offensive line in 2019.

Rodger Saffold is going on 31 years of age but is playing Pro Bowl caliber football and has for the past few seasons.

He is a left guard, so the Broncos would obviously have to figure out what they are going to do with Ron Leary in any scenario involving Saffold, but he could present an upgrade or at least someone who is more reliable health-wise.

Saffold struggled with injuries early on in his career, but has missed just two games over the course of the past three seasons.

He allowed just three sacks and five hits on the quarterback this past season for the Rams. The Broncos need to bring in guys who can keep quarterbacks upright on a more consistent basis, and Saffold could be worth the price.
