LaMarcus Joyner, FS, Rams

Age: 29

Joyner may not have been a fit with the previous Broncos regime as having two free safeties in Darian Stewart and Justin Simmons didn’t really work out, but he’s a different type of player than Stewart and could potentially work well with Simmons.

Joyner has overcome concerns about his size (5-foot-8) to have an incredibly productive NFL career thus far, especially in 2017 when he picked off three passes and finished with 49 tackles and nine pass breakups.

Joyner was dominant in coverage in 2017, but took a little bit of a step back this past season.

If Wade Phillips could get the best out of him, so can Vic Fangio.

Joyner has played well over the past few seasons but health has been an issue and this is a deep safety class. The Broncos could potentially get someone as good — maybe better — and probably younger for a cheaper price, but he would be an exciting addition to the secondary for sure.
