Pierre Desir, CB, Colts

Age: 28 (will be 29 in September)

Unlike the other players on this list, Desir is an outside cornerback and not a slot guy. The Broncos need to either put a huge vote of confidence in Bradley Roby (who was one of the NFL’s worst corners this past year) or they need to go out and find an upgrade.

This type of player would allow the Broncos to keep Chris Harris Jr. in the slot with Isaac Yiadom presumably taking the other outside corner spot.

The Colts have more cap space than any other NFL team, though, so losing one of their top defenders seems unlikely.

If Desir does hit the market, though (and we suggested the Broncos sign him last year…), he would once again be a worthwhile investment. He was really good all-around for the Colts this past season both as a tackler and in coverage.

He had one of his best games of the season (two catches on five targets) against Patrick Mahomes and the Colts in their playoff loss.
