Fourth round (part two): Jordan Brown, CB, South Dakota State

Once a very productive high school receiver in the state of Arizona, Jordan Brown took his game to South Dakota State and transitioned to the defensive side of the football.

The transition was probably not something he wanted when he made it, but that move is going to pave the way for this kid to have a successful career in the NFL as a cornerback.

He established himself as one of the best cornerbacks in the country with the Jackrabbits, and was recognized obviously by getting selected to play in the Senior Bowl.

Taking a former receiver and converted cornerback might scare some Broncos fans and bring back memories of Brendan Langley in the third round of the 2017 NFL Draft, but Brown is a much more polished player at the position and rose to the occasion at Senior Bowl practices this past week.

The Broncos should look to the cornerback position in free agency and fill out the roster with some guys worth developing, and Brown has a chance to get selected higher than round four when all is said and done. He has an impressive combination of size and athleticism.
