The time has come again for John Elway to pull the trigger on some veteran help. These three players would fit perfect in the Mile High City.

The Denver Broncos are gearing up for free agency in 2019 and now is the time for John Elway and the front office to stop sitting on their wallet and fill some big holes on this team.

Denver needs a free agency better than the 2014 offseason when they snagged future Hall Famer DeMarcus Ware and Pro Bowl receiver Emmanuel Sanders.

We know the Broncos have had a hard time drafting. Besides this year draft class, the Broncos have completely bombed the past five drafts. So, that organization knows if they want to not only win but win now, this team is going to have bring some proven “game changers” to that locker room.

Denver is going to have to spend their money wisely this off season. Back in 2014, the Broncos had $19.4 million to spend on a roster that was already in the Super Bowl conversation. Next year’s team isn’t anywhere near the level of that team but can have a better offseason, but only if they don’t get caught up in a bidding war against other teams.

New defensive-minded head coach Vic Fangio is going to need another veteran presence on that side of the ball with potentially losing four starters. Cornerback Bradley Roby, linebacker Brandon Marshall, and nose tackle Domata Peko could have played their last down as a Bronco.

Losing three quality veterans on a defense that’s already struggling is going to hurt the defense but not sink the ship if they can work the market like they’ve done in the past. Let’s take a look at a few veterans that could get this team back in the playoffs.
