The Denver Broncos are off to a hot start this offseason, and we haven’t even gotten to free agency. Could some of the coaches former players join them?

Relationship equity is a major factor oftentimes in the NFL, especially when it comes to free agents finding fits on new teams around the league.

The Denver Broncos are going to have to be active in free agency this year after bringing in a new coaching staff and there are plenty of interesting players available who actually have some pretty important coaching ties to Denver.

With Vic Fangio coming over from Chicago along with Brandon Staley and Ed Donatell, there figure to be some Bears players in focus for the Broncos this offseason along with potentially some players from the Pittsburgh Steelers who could follow the highly respected Mike Munchak.

John Elway has hit a few home runs already to start off the 2019 season, but this team needs to shake things up on the roster if they are going to compete this season.

It could be a longer road ahead for the Broncos if a rookie quarterback is brought in, but this team is going to be loaded up defensively and part of that will come from the 2019 free agent class.

Let’s take a look at some names of players who have specific ties to coaches currently in Denver.
