The Denver Broncos will face some difficult decisions this offseason, but can avoid some by restructuring some contracts.

For the Denver Broncos, the 2019 season will be spent discovering the team’s identity. After back-to-back losing seasons, there will be a new head coach in place. There will likely be plenty of coaching changes among the staff.

There is even bound to be some major changes int terms of players.

But what if, maybe, just maybe, the players rumoured to be cap casualties decide they are okay giving up big contracts to stay with the team?

This is a time for change. It’s a time for some difficult decisions, for players and coaches.

There will probably be players that will have no problem renegotiating their contract for the greater good of the team.

It is worth a shot to try and lower some players’ cap number rather than having to trade or cut them.

There are some players on the team that have younger backups. Age is a reason for the possibility of a contract restructure and there could be some of that for the Denver Broncos.

I have no idea what the future holds for some players on the team, but I do know that some of these players are worth keeping at a lower price.
