Mike Munchak

Earlier we talked about the importance of experience from a coach and highlighted Vic Fangio’s lengthy experience, but Mike Munchak is another candidate who has nothing but NFL experience.

Whether it be from his playing days or coaching days, he possesses over 30 years of coaching experience in the league.

Munchak is a highly respected coach throughout the NFL community who had a prior Head Coaching stint with the Tennessee Titans for three seasons.

Munchak has served as the Steelers offensive line coach for the last five seasons and is a sought out candidate for several teams with a vacant Head Coaching position.

I believe he would offer a great deal of value for this Broncos team because he’s had experience with quality control and management of a team – something the Broncos need.

He has transformed the Steelers’ offensive line over the course of the last five seasons and I believe he could do the same thing for the Broncos as a whole.

The Broncos have requested permission to interview Munchak for their vacancy.
