Zac Taylor

The NFL world has been taken by storm by Sean McVay’s terminology and coaching style in Los Angeles.

McVay has put together a coaching staff that aligns well with what he envisions for the Rams as a team and their offense, which is why teams are interested in Zac Taylor, their QB coach.

The Broncos will interview Zac Taylor this Saturday for their vacant Head Coach position.

Taylor’s career as a coach in the NFL has been fruitful for the past six years. Prior to joining the Rams staff, he served as the Dolphins QB coach for a majority of his time in Miami before becoming the team’s Offensive Coordinator for the latter part of 2015.

Taylor was very instrumental in the development of Dolphins QB Ryan Tannehill and his production where Tannehill had thrown for 3,000 yards in the first four seasons of his career.

This to me seems more like an Offensive Coordinator interview disguised as a Head Coach interview.

Taylor has been instrumental this season working alongside Jared Goff who has thrown for nearly 4700 yards, 32 TDs, and just 12 INTs.

Could Zac Taylor be a candidate that transforms the Broncos offense? It’s certainly possible, however, the lack of coordinator experience may be one thing that stands out.

What do you think about Taylor’s potential candidacy?
