John Harbaugh

In a perfect world, the Baltimore Ravens would have missed out on the playoffs and parted ways with John Harbaugh.

At least, in the Broncos’ perfect world.

Instead, the Ravens and Harbaugh are competing in the playoffs with a young stud rookie quarterback in Lamar Jackson, and it appears extremely unlikely Harbaugh will even be available to other teams.

As Klis tweeted out here, the Broncos aren’t going to pay up for Harbaugh and unless they give up something significant in draft capital, they aren’t getting him away from Baltimore.

The Ravens have continued winning as well, so they are going to be more and more motivated to get something done with their current head coach and more and more hesitant to just trade him away.

Can the Broncos afford to part with a first-round pick just to have a head coach anyway?

There could be an argument for that, I guess, but if the asking price is this high, it seems extremely unlikely to happen or that the Ravens would even want to do it.
