Gary Kubiak being considered by Atlanta?

Dan Quinn has blown up his coaching staff in Atlanta with the Falcons, moving on from offensive coordinator Steve Sarkisian, defensive coordinator Marquand Manuel (a former Broncos safety), and his special teams coordinator Keith Armstrong.

It’s been long rumored that Gary Kubiak is interested in getting back into the coaching ranks as an offensive coordinator, and he could have a home in Atlanta.

Kubiak can be very selective with the options available to him to be an offensive coordinator. He’s under no obligation to accept just any position, and the Falcons have a chance to bounce back in a big way as a team in 2019 with their offensive weaponry, a defense which will get many players back from injury, and a pretty high draft choice.

He also already has a familiar face coaching the quarterbacks there in Greg Knapp.

If Kubiak is interested in an offensive coordinator job, this is about as good as it gets. Dan Quinn is assuming defensive coordinator duties with the Falcons going forward, so having a veteran mind like Kubiak running the show on offense would help him sleep at night.
