After the results of the entire 2018 season, the Denver Broncos will be drafting in the top ten of the NFL Draft for the second year in a row.

Another season completed for the Denver Broncos. They will not make the playoffs, lost their head coach due to the last two seasons, and the team will have a top ten pick in the upcoming NFL Draft.

Based on Denver’s 6-10 finish in 2018, the Broncos will have the tenth selection in the draft. It is five picks up from last year’s fifth overall pick. With the lack of talent at the quarterback position, it is likely that there will be teams ahead of them who will pick the top quarterbacks in the draft before Denver is on the clock.

Honestly, the Broncos should focus on fixing other holes on the team. It was clear how poorly the secondary performed, especially with the injury to Chris Harris Jr. I do not see the team bringing back Bradley Roby for anything less than a nickel corner role.

This will be the first time that the Denver Broncos will be selecting tenth overall. There was plenty of buzz saying that they could have drafted ninth overall. But based on win-loss-tied strength of victory, the Bills were lower than the Broncos. Therefore, Buffalo gets the ninth pick while Denver picks tenth.

Either way, the Broncos will have a second straight year of picking in the top ten in the first round. The 2018 draft class was exceptional. If the Broncos can have another solid draft in 2019, it can go a long way in improving the team’s state. Which would mean more wins. And possibly another title.

Denver is likely a long way from that, but Broncos Country is hoping that the road back will get even shorter as the years go on.
