Brandon Marshall- ILB

This is one that might hurt for most of Broncos Country. Brandon Marshall has been quite the playmaker for the Denver Broncos.

There is still a chance he returns. However, he does have a potential out in his contract. He would cost four million in dead cap if the Broncos decide to exercise that out. But if he remains on the roster, he would earn half a million on the fifth league year.

The issue I would have with Denver letting Marshall walk is the depth at inside linebacker. The team did draft Josey Jewell in the 2018 draft. He could be a solid player if he takes over in 2019.

I believe the Broncos will only move on from Marshall if they feel confident that Jewell can take that next step and start. The season finale will be telling in what happens for Brandon Marshall’s future.
