The Denver Broncos just did not look like they belonged. When things went right, it fell apart. It was a pitiful performance in what was a pitiful season.

Well Broncos Country, it was fun for a little bit. But sadly, the Denver Broncos season has come to an end. The season finale had just about the same result as the last three weeks. The team looked completely lost at times. Quite a few mistakes. The whole nine yards.

And how the game dragged out felt like torture. I asked myself a few times in the fourth quarter, when will this game end. But it finally got to triple zeroes and the Denver Broncos end their season at 6-10.

You have to go back to the 1966 and the 1967 seasons. That’s how long it has been since the Denver Broncos lost ten or more games in consecutive seasons. Another negative record set by Vance Joseph’s crew.

There were so many plays that just defined the 2018 season for the Broncos. A fumble by River Cracraft that somehow stayed in bounds, a two point conversion return by Casey Heyward after Denver scored their only touchdown of the game, and the multiply holding calls on the Broncos.

Next. Broncos players who might not return in 2019. dark

Enough is enough. Now Denver goes into a long offseason where they only improved by one game in a year. Reports are indicating that Vance Joseph will be relieved of his head coaching duties. The news will likely come in Monday morning.

Two coaches have already lost their jobs Sunday evening. John Elway will sit with Joseph in the morning. It is likely then that Joseph will be relieved unless something unknown happens between now and then.

Players will have media availability in the morning as well. But another lost season for the Denver Broncos. A lot of questions will be asked this offseason. Hopefully come Monday morning, the Denver Broncos will begin searching for answers.
