Ravens @ Chargers

The Baltimore Ravens head into Los Angeles to face the Chargers on Saturday.

The Ravens are a pretty hot team as of late, despite losing to the Chiefs two weeks ago. They lost only by three points though. They have won four of their last five games.

The Chargers have won four in a row and barely lost against the Broncos, 23-22.

Both of those being said, the Chargers are favored to win this game by six points. Running back Melvin Gordon is back for he Chargers while Austin Ekeler is out.

Having Gordon on the field is a huge deal for Los Angeles. Add that to the Chargers strong passing game and I think the Chargers win.

Coming into this week, the Chargers have a playoff spot locked down, but are still fighting for the top seed in the AFC, and the AFC West title.

The Ravens are coming in with their playoff hopes still alive, fighting for either the division title or a wildcard spot. Baltimore has one of the best defenses in the league and will be playing an injury-riddled LA team.

Based on how the Chargers have been playing the entire season, I have to put my money on LA.

This game will be a key game in the AFC playoff battle.

With Melvin Gordon due to return, look for him to be a big threat in the passing game.

The Ravens defense is stout, so Phillip Rivers will try to swing it out to Gordon in open space as much as possible to gain easy yardage. This will work effectively, giving Los Angeles a first quarter lead.

On defense, Los Angeles will bring heavy pressure to try to disrupt Lamar Jackson. The first quarter will be frustrating for him, and in the 2nd quarter, he will throw a costly interception to end the half.

Philip Rivers will have another phenomenal 2nd half, throwing three touchdown passes. Lamar Jackson make a comeback and catch heat in the second half, with one rushing touchdown and one passing touchdown.

He will, however, come up short. Los Angeles will hold the Ravens from scoring late in the fourth quarter.
