Denver Broncos: Players with the most to prove in final two weeks
Jamar Taylor, CB
The Broncos really have a chance to get an early head start on some possible free agent bargains at the cornerback position.
Jamar Taylor was traded to the Browns by the Miami Dolphins, then traded from the Browns to the Arizona Cardinals this past offseason. The Cardinals cut Taylor during the season and he worked out for a number of teams before landing with Denver.
The former second-round pick out of Boise State has been unable to put together consistent play throughout his career and could be a candidate for a one-year ‘prove it’ deal in the 2019 offseason.
Could the team to give it to him be the Broncos?
Denver would probably love to see Taylor have a breakthrough in the next couple of games because they have a need for cornerback help, especially if Bradley Roby walks in free agency.
We took a look at what it might take to re-sign him as well.
Even if the Broncos do bring Roby back, Taylor could be a nice bargain player to have if he can prove his worth over the next couple of week and play some solid football.
