Edge Rusher

The Broncos’ edge rusher position is set for the foreseeable future with the three players returning under contract for the 2019 season.

It will be hard to say goodbye to one or both of Shaquil Barrett and Shane Ray. Some fans may not share the sentiment with Ray, but it’s difficult for me to see a first-round pick leave after a disappointing few years.

The bigger loss football-wise would be Barrett, who has been a great rotational player and spot starter since 2014.

The Broncos will also likely let Deiontrez Mount hit the market after spending this season on injured reserve.
