Running Back

Phillip Lindsay, Royce Freeman, Devontae Booker, Andy Janovich

The Broncos’ entire crew of running backs will be back and under contract next season.

Phillip Lindsay was recently named to his first career Pro Bowl and is the first undrafted offensive rookie to ever earn such an honor.

As the highest draft choice, Royce Freeman will have the highest cap hit in 2019 at just over $910,000, followed by Booker, Janovich, then Lindsay.

The Broncos won’t have an opportunity to adjust Lindsay’s pay until after his second season. He’s under team control for another three years beyond this season, but 2019 will be contract years for both Booker and Janovich.

The team signed speedy Khalfani Muhammad to the practice squad, and he will likely be signed to a reserve/future contract.
